A competent & result-oriented professional having comprehensive experience of 35 years’ studded with professional brilliance predominantly across all facets of, geological, hydrogeological, geophysical exploration & mining with special reference to mineral block assessment/development, geophysical well logging, CBM gas exploration and production, ground water investigation, geological mapping and resource evaluation, specialized in 2D CDP seismic reflection survey, gravity-magnetic, magneto telluric, electrical resistivity, EM, MT, GPR, seismic refraction-seismic tomography, In Seam Seismic Survey, exploration/drilling /mining project development & management.
Graduated from IIT (ISM Dhanbad) in the year 1986 (M.Sc. Tech Applied Geophysics) and worked in several national and international companies which include CGWB, CMPDIL, ESSAR Group, etc. He is also a PMI USA certified project management professional (PMP) and hold distinction of discovering one of the world’s largest iron ore deposit by conducting world’s largest ground magnetic survey in Zimbabwe. He was pioneer for establishment of geophysical technologies for iron ore resource evaluation and usefulness in mining activity in Mwanesi iron ore deposit, Zimbabwe. He has proven expertise in borehole geophysical logging data acquisition, processing / interpretation & evaluation for determination of various physical parameters of subsurface formation, Shallow subsurface geophysical surveys for geotechnical and pre-construction investigations, as well as the non-destructive evaluation of earth structures, such as dams, tunnels, and subsurface foundations. He has big overseas experience in formulation, execution, supervision & planning of exploration, mining and business development activities in Iran, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Mozambique, Indonesia and West African countries.
